What makes us special is the care we have for our patients
Dr. Mark McOmie did research on Geriatric Dentistry. He developed a tri-axial patient analysis system that is still in use in Nursing homes to this day. He won the prestigious “Crest Award for Geriatric Dentistry” in 1998 for his research. It is a nationwide award given to the top researcher in the field each year. From the beginning back in 1998, we set out to have an office focused on a broad range of procedures done to the highest quality. This allows us to give the entire family excellent care.

A general dentist is a dentist that has chosen not to specialize in any one area of dentistry. Dr. Mark was top in his class in dental school, he choose to become a general dentist. As a general dentist, this means he can do all areas of dentistry. He doesn’t have to just do braces or just do root canals. The variety and the ability to help patients keep things fresh and exciting. This also extends to being able to take care of the whole family doing dentistry for every member. Whether it be a new set of dentures of a sealant on a first permanent tooth it can all be done at McOmie Family Dentistry.
